What base does a Rhino greenhouse need?
Every Rhino includes an integral aluminium base, so you do not need to buy a separate plinth. The greenhouse needs a firm, level foundation: a concrete slab, paving slabs on a compacted sub-base, or a perimeter footing all work well. Our delivery pack includes a base preparation guide with exact dimensions for your model.
Is delivery really free, and where do you deliver?
Yes — delivery is free across mainland Europe on every greenhouse. Deliveries to some islands and remote regions are quoted individually; email us and we will confirm before you order.
Why buy direct from the manufacturer?
Three reasons: price (no retailer margin), advice (you speak to people who build greenhouses, not resell them), and accountability (your 25-year guarantee is held directly with the factory that made your frame). You can also visit our Norfolk show site and see every range built and planted up.
Why toughened glass rather than horticultural glass or polycarbonate?
4mm toughened safety glass is roughly five times stronger than 3mm horticultural glass, and if it ever does break it crumbles into blunt granules rather than dangerous shards — important in family gardens. Compared with polycarbonate it offers better light transmission, no yellowing with age, and far better resistance to wind-lift.
What does the 25-year guarantee cover?
The 25-year guarantee covers the aluminium framework of every Rhino greenhouse against structural failure and manufacturing defects. Glazing, seals and moving parts carry their own cover — full terms are on our Terms & Conditions page. The guarantee is direct with us as the manufacturer, so there is no retailer in the middle if you ever need it.
